Aims and Objectives of the Project:

'Nevruz', which means nativity, resurrection, the longing for spring and a calendar year change, is an ancient tradition widely celebrated throughout the Turkish world. The Turks accepted the date of 21 March as the beginning of the new year, which they identified with the 'day of the earth awakening'. Known as a 'day of existence and resurrection', these celebrations are endowed with a spiritual identity. Nevruz, which has been celebrated for centuries with common traditions in Anatolia, is experienced with different or very similar rituals in every region with a festive atmosphere that meets the revival of nature. The starting point of the project is to set a standard for the celebrations of the Nevruz Festival in our country, which has an indisputable importance in Turkish culture, and to make the sense of unity necessary for continuity, which is the main characteristic of the nation, permanent with this ancient tradition that spreads from our roots and ancestral lands. Addressing the whole Turkish world, Nevruz Festival; It is aimed to celebrate by combining it with narratives designed with artistic concerns, with an organization that has not been held in our country until now.
